About Bab Lamrissa

Bab Lamrissa takes its name from the monumental Marinid gate of the Salé medina (Bab Lamrissa, or Bab Mrisa), one of the finest historic gates in Morocco. The station marks the northern entrance to the shared trunk and is an interchange between Line 1 and Line 2.

Located on the Salé side just before the Bouregreg crossing, it gives access to the old town of Salé, its souk markets and its ramparts. Passengers can switch freely between Line 1 and Line 2 here.
